The history of Silicon Valley
SV is the world's leading technology innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem located in the San Francisco Bay Area (Bay Area), in the state of California, USA. The name Silicon Valley is not a place name, but a nickname with the word "Valley" originating in Santa Clara Valley where the students were originally formed, and the word "Silicon" refers to a huge number of children.
Electronic silicon chips are created and manufactured here.
Historically, in the 1930-40s, San Francisco was a stronghold and strong attachment to the US Navy, so the area around it became a radio technology research and development center and not troops. A few years later, Stanford Professor Frederick Terman convinced the school to let some technology companies lease facilities, creating an area called Stanford Industrial Park (Stanford Industrial Park).
Center of "creative boom"
Some time later, the fall of many big companies like Kodak and General Electric attracted many passionate technology students in the area to work. This has created an "explosion" of research and discovery. The pioneering corporations like Intel (1960s) were born and laid the foundations for the establishment of Palo Alto Research Center (Palo Alto Research Center), and later the brainchild of Bill Gates, Steve Jobs ...
Today, students are the headquarters of many big bosses such as Facebook, Google, Intel, Apple, eBay ... and thousands of start-up companies in the same industry. For this reason, students are home to many of the most technology engineers in the country (total / area), and there are also many millionaires and billionaires in the United States.
